GiftwardTerms of service
Last updated October 9, 2026. These terms cover your use of Giftward, a Shopify app operated by Blackout Media, a company established in Brazil (“we”). By installing it you (the store) agree to them.
What the app does
Giftward watches the stock of products you choose, sends alerts, and, when you turn it on for a gift, turns the automatic discounts you link on and off in your store. You decide which discounts it may change. Every change is logged and can be undone.
Estimates
Burn rates and times until a gift runs out are estimates from recent stock changes. They are not promises. Alerts depend on Shopify and Slack delivering them.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your promotions, your discounts and what you promise customers. Check that the thresholds and actions you set suit your store.
Price
Giftward is free during its first release. If paid plans are introduced, they will be billed through Shopify and you will be asked to approve them first.
No warranty
The app is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data or indirect losses arising from the use of the app, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil.
Ending
You can uninstall at any time. Your data is then deleted as the privacy policy describes.
